Long exposure with Olympus EM10

I try so many techiques. One of them is long exposure. I use ND filters when i need to make my camera to use a slower shutter speed. Only if there is too much light. There is no need for filters if you are taking photos during the blue hour.

There is a function on Olympus EM10 that reduces the noise when you take long exposure photos.

Make sure you have an Nd filter. It's very important when the light conditions don't allow you to use the slowest shutter speed. We will talk in another post about the Neutral  Density filters.

For these photos I have used a variable Nd filter. That means that I can control how much darkness the filter has. Turn it to the right and you have an almost clear right. Turn it left and it goes until full dark.
